Registration information

Conference registration should preferably be done and paid in advance online where possible. Pre-registration deadline was 7 September

Category 1: African and other developing countries delegates*

  • Regular registration SETAC member: 3500 ZAR/265 EURO
  • Regular registration non-member: 4000 ZAR/300 EURO
  • Student registration SETAC member: 1000 ZAR/80 EURO
  • Student registration non-member: 1500 ZAR/115 EURO 

*Developing countries listed as LIC or LUMIC countries:

  • LIC = Low Income Countries as defined by the World Bank,
  • LUMIC = Lower & Upper Middle Income Countries as defined by the World Bank
 Category 2: Developed countries delegates**
  • Regular registration SETAC member: 5500 ZAR/415 EURO
  • Regular registration non-member: 6500 ZAR/490 EURO
  • Student registration SETAC member: 2000 ZAR/155 EURO
**Developed countries = High Income Countries (HIC)

Guest registration: 1000 ZAR/80 EURO (catering + dinner, no meeting materials)

 

Registration and payment policy:

  • Online registration opens early February. 
  • Registrations are non-transferable. 
  • Your conference registration includes admission to all platform and poster sessions, lunches and coffee breaks. 
  • Pre-registration deadline is 31 August 2015. After 31 August 2015, only onsite registration is possible. 
  • In order to be eligible for the pre-registration fees, participants must be registered by 7 September 2015
Payment terms

Payments by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) are strongly preferred. Payments can also be made by bank transfer. Bank details can be found on the invoice.

In order to be eligible for the early registration fees, the participant: 

    -    MUST be registered by 31 August 2015 and
    -    the payment credit card payment or bank transfer MUST be received by 10 September 2015 or
       the full amount must be paid cash on side in euro or in ZAR

Cheques will not be accepted.

Cancellation policy:

  • Refunds will be made after the meeting. 
  • If you cancel your registration by 30 June 2015, a cancellation fee of € 50 will be charged. In case of refund after a cancellation, 50 € will be deducted from the amount that you already paid . 
  • Cancellations must be received in writing by mail or fax to the SETAC office in Brussels. 
  • No refunds will be made for any reason for cancellations received after 30 June 2015
  • If you cancel your registration after the cancellation deadline but have not paid yet, the outstanding amount will still be due. 
  • SETAC Africa reserves the right to cancel any events due to unforeseen circumstances. 
  • In case of event cancellations by SETAC, a refund of the full event fee will be done.
